Eddie Cibrian Brandi Glanville Divorce — Actor’s Wife Splits Over Affair With LeAnn Rimes

Shortly before Cibrian appeared in the Lifetime television movie Northern Lights alongside the country singer last March, reports surfaced that Cibrian was having an affair with Rimes, who is also married.

Both have denied the claims. Nonetheless, the hunk’s model wife — the mother of his two young children — has decided to leave the actor after once again catching him in the arms of LeAnn.

“Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart,” 36-year-old Brandi Glanville says tearfully in this week’s issue of Us Weekly. “I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn [Rimes] deserve each other.”

Wow, this is getting juicier than Y&R.

Brandi — who once accused LeAnn of “stalking” her husband — tells Us she caught the pair together outside the Malibu beach home of one of LeAnn’s pals in the early afternoon hours of July 17.

It was the final straw in what has become a humiliating ordeal for the scorned woman.

Cibrian, 35, has also been accused of cheating with Scheana Marie Jancan, a 24-year-old model.

For his part, Eddie Cibrian — who is slated to join the cast of CSI: Miami this fall — is defending the state of his wrecked marriage, describing his troubles with Brandi as a “speed bump” in press statement issued Tuesday.

“Apparently the press wishes to continue to play out Eddie Cibrian’s domestic situation publicly with an unfair flair of tabloid fervor,” Cibrian’s manager said in a statement released to Access Hollywood.“Eddie is a devoted and loving father first and foremost and the speed bump he and Brandi are experiencing needs to be worked out privately for everyone’s benefit.”
