This is Caitlynn from show on MTV called “16 and pregnant.” Caitlynn and her boyfriend Tyler were really strong, very responsible, and gave up their daughter for adoption. The only one in the series that did not keep the baby.
Tyler and Caitlynn’s parents were so rude to them, they told them to man up, and called them names with the b word etc, because they thought the kids were selfish not keeping their baby and yet. They held to their guns under constant ridicule and pressure to keep the baby.
I wish I could see and hug this little girl, and tell her how brave I thought she was. Much more selfless…then her parents, then most other teen moms are. I believe it takes a stronger person to do this then to keep the baby. Brave Caitlynn. Being pregnant as a teen was difficult, but it made me determined to finish school and go to college. It pushed me to do more and grow up.
The filming of this show was amazing.
Since filming wrapped, I’ve just been hanging out with friends and enjoying summer. There’s not a day that passes that I don’t think about my little girl, but I’m 100% confident in my decision.
